Hometown FC started with a simple idea: develop players the right way and tell their stories. Coach Eric is a Phoenix based youth coach, podcast host and soccer media creator, and the Hometown FC Podcast has grown into one of the largest youth soccer podcasts in the country.

Through Hometown FC training, Eric has developed players for top MLS Next programs and MLS academies, including the Colorado Rapids, Real Salt Lake, Orlando City, LA Galaxy and Portland Timbers academies, as well as the Barça Residency Academy. In 2024 he took over a talented Arizona youth group that went on to beat LA academy sides and older Vegas teams, and he still trains and mentors many of those players today.
